Stars – Performing Arts Fun for 4-6s

Try out our fun performing arts class for the younger members of TDA. We introduce the children to the world of drama, dance and singing through games and imaginative play. Each week we will explore different themes through games and exercises designed to help build the children’s confidence and make them shine both inside the classroom and out! Autumn and Spring Terms will culminate with a performance to the grown ups in our final session to celebrate all their hard work! In Summer Term, alongside our fun games and exercises, the children will work on material for our whole school variety show to be performed at the end of the academic year.

Spotlights – Performing Arts for 7-11s

Our 7-11s class builds on the children’s skills and begins honing their performance abilities, stage presence, public speaking and confidence through drama, dance, singing, games and improvisations. For the Autumn and Spring terms, we will work either on a showcase or a short informal show. These will be performed for friends and family in our final session of the term. In Summer Term, alongside our usual class structure and confidence building games, we will also work on repertoire to perform in our whole school variety show which will take place at the end of the academic year.
