Encores – Musical Theatre for 12-15s

Join us for 90 mins of performing arts fun as we begin to delve into each discipline of acting, singing and dancing in more detail. These classes will run in a 3 term structure. Autumn term is our skills term where we will properly focus on technique and build confidence. Spring term builds on these skills but we also work on routines, culminating in an informal showcase of scene work, songs and dances in our final session of the term. In summer term, our classes will work towards our whole school variety show, where each grade will perform a mixture of numbers and scenes performed to an audience.

Headliners – Musical Theatre for 16-18s

A 90 min performing arts class, focusing individually on each discipline of acting, singing and dancing. As we build each skill, we will then focus on putting these together to become a well rounded performer. These classes will run in a 3 term structure. Autumn term is our skills term where we will focus on technique and also work on more independent work, getting the chance to prepare and practice mock auditions. In Spring Term, we will continue our work on technique but build this into prepared scene, song and dance work to perform an informal showcase of their work in the final class of the term. Summer term will put all of what they have learnt, together, as we work on repertoire for our whole school variety show at the end of the academic year, alongside our usual games and exercises.
